How do you turn complex research into a presentation that is clear, engaging and relevant to your audience?
In this practical session, Hans Van de Water focuses on the presentation techniques that make an immediate difference, and on the mistakes researchers make most often. You will see what commonly goes wrong, why it does not work, and how a few simple techniques can instantly improve the way you present your research.
We focus on three essentials:
- Know what you want your audience to take away. Learn how to adapt your presentation to your audience and sharpen your core message.
- Build a structure that works. Discover how to guide your audience through complex information without losing them along the way.
- Bring your message to life. See how simple choices in slides, delivery and interaction can make your presentation clearer, more engaging and more convincing.
The session is particularly relevant for researchers and clinicians working in health and medicine, with concrete examples and techniques that can be immediately applied to research presentations, scientific meetings and other professional settings.
